They promised a Mexican Heritage themed meal for Cinco de Mayo. Got a deconstructed ‘walking taco’.

I’m not sure what the problem is here, I worked at a mexican run car wash in Texas and I saw this all the time.

/S if your that kinda special. The regional manager’s mother made food plates for five bucks that were miles above this trash I’m sorry bro I’ma eat some Sopa Fria for ya.

for context, this was sent to me by boomer MiL bragging to the family group chat about how well work takes care of them.

Doritos, those are the most authentic of mexicos dishes.

When you behave yourself for a couple of weeks in prison.

Damn I kinda want to apologize to Mexico.

The packaging to food ratio here is the most incredible I’ve ever seen.

Presented in the way that uses the most single-use plastic possible, and it isn’t even the right kind of chips. I’d say it fits this sub.

there is SO much trash in there! Theres more trash than food; every single thing has a wrapper, even all the wrappers have a styrofoam wrapper.

This reminds me of the snl soul food cook-off with Nate B, Ego, Kenan, and Punky. I see no soul and i also see no food. Is this at a prison?

  12. Tbf cinco isn’t even an authentic Mexican holiday fr

  13. At least it’s better than what they got at the fyre festival?

  14. There’s more trash and packaging in this photo than there is food. You were literally given trash.

I don’t know if I can eat that much plastic.

  16. lol it would have been cheaper just to make actual tacos

  17. All the best Doritos flavors come out of Mexico! Ugh

I refuse to touch Cinco de Mayo at work with a ten foot pole. I love decorating or otherwise getting into the spirit of the season, but it’s basically impossible for a non-Mexican to do something that isn’t horribly offensive. St Patrick’s Day is easy for the non-Irish, though.

So instead we celebrate Star Wars Day in the office.
