I am so weirded out by all of these smash burgers on tortillas or bread or… croissants now. Like raw beef juice directly on bread, probably not an actual issue but THEN youre missing opportunity to sear the other side of that burger patty. Like… what are we doing here? The point of a smash burger is to get that good crispy beef, high heat, quick sear. Youre missing half the good sear. For what??? Cook both sides stick it on a potato bun or a tortilla or a croissant. Whatever you want.
