Don’t always have ramen eggs around so if I want a little protein I just coat a ladle with sesame oil, crack an egg in it, and set the ladle on top of the ramen. Cooks perfectly in the four minutes it takes to cook the noodles and releases easily with a spoon.

Thank you for sharing this top! I can’t wait to try it!
What I do I just take out only the noodles a little earlier than how I’d like it, leave the soup in the pot, crack up the heat and crack the egg in and turn off the heat. I like my egg runny and cloudy… But I also am not in the US and tho not using American eggs, so it’s okay if it’s not fully cooked.
I appreciate you sharing this
Hate to be that guy but poaching is below boiling temp
Great method for instant ramen eggs though
Just crack a raw egg on top on the Ramen when it’s done?
How did I not think of this
That’s not poached.
That’s an overcooked onsen egg
