This is a sign to take everything you see on this sub with a grain of salt.
Someone made a post on this sub about Swift cafe in North York. I went there today to realize… It's just the store for this office building. They had store-bought dempsters bagels and supermarket pastries, and random candies. This thing I got was $13 after tax. Their special of the day was chicken fajitas and they looked meh.
I guess it's fine if you work there? Do not go out of your way or commute far for this.

a lot of reviews on this sub are secretly advertisements for certain restaurants
yeah i did the same thing since its very local to me and i came out of there thinking like damn even tim hortons is better than this LMAO
i’d so much rather spend the extra time to go to a place like gryfe’s who are not very close to me at all
Thank you for posting.
Sometimes it’s important to post disappointing experiences (with evidence) as well as the good ones
Super annoying that they have tons of fake google reviews too

This post? Nothing about that bagel inspires me to go there lol
I go there sometimes and I like it, but I’ve never had anything but their lunch specials. Those are solid, no clue about their sandwiches.
If you are looking for an awesome bagel to go out of your way for, go to primrose on oakwood. I’m not a fan of lox but my husband really loves the beet cured lox in particular. They make their own bagels fresh, daily.
Go to schmaltz appetizing near casa loma, they make amazing lox bagels. It will cure the trauma this ugly bagel gave u 🙁
It used to be really good before it became Swift Cafe, a nice Korean couple used to own the place and the food was fresh a d delicious. I haven’t been there since my first trip after they sold it.
some of the post here are paid and you get downvoted for even saying that. If you check their user profile they are solely posting about food
