Attari is a casual Persian restaurant in Westwood. The sandwich is minced meat kabobs (that's the 'koobideh'), saffron, onions, spices, basil, tomatoes, and pickles.

$17 plus change out the door but it is at least a foot long and was easily lunch and dinner for me. No service charge, no tip screen.

There's a lovely courtyard and on Sundays it's filled with families. The owners are great, the vibe is great. Bonus: it's across the street from Saffron and Rose ice cream.

And because there's no sauce or dressing it holds up really well to take to the Bowl or the beach.

Sorry about the photos, my camera is broken.
