  1. Pretty sure that’s not a shop towel and napkin rings are pretty common, they’re just using one that’s on theme.

OP isn’t wrong, it’s really a shop rag and hose clamp. Thankfully you will get plates or baskets. It’s been a few years…

  3. What location is this? I know of the restaurant but I wasn’t aware they’ve got so many spots

What did you expect at a place called “Ford’s Garage”?

  5. HonestyFTW

I’ve been to Ford’s garage and it makes total sense if you’re there.

How dare they use a shop rag and a hose clamp at a theme restaurant that’s dedicated and owned by a car company…. What next! Gas pump for door handles?!?!?!!?! Pedals for the bathroom sink The insanity!!!!/s

Dude, please don’t make this sub anymore pompous. You’re at a theme restaurant, if it bothers you so much just ask for some to-go napkins

  7. Brooklinebeck

You’re lucky they don’t serve meals on hubcaps!

  8. I don’t think it qualifies, and holy shit has it caused some drama in the comments.

While it is, empirically a shop towel held closed by a hose clamp, it’s a car-themed restaurant. Functionally, it’s your napkin and napkin ring. Just done on-theme to the place.

The people arguing that it’s NOT a shop towel, are just as bad as the people arguing everything else in here. JFC.

    Diners are diners.

The only thing these places can to do make them unique is use weird ass plates and gimmicks

  10. I don’t think hose clamps can be food safe. I question how they wash them.

  11. Aintyodad

Does anyone else call hose clamps Murray clamps?

  12. dnatrauma_drama_npe

I’ve been to the one in Cincinnati. It’s in a big old factory. Really good hamburgers and interesting place. It fits the theme.

Hey guys, guess what?? It’s a napkin with a napkin ring AND a shop rag with a hose clamp! Everyone is right!

  14. Jytterbug

Order the onion rings then report back, way more egregious then the napkins lol

And your potatoes are fried in duck fat and motor oil.

Bro this sub is just the no fun club, mods please ban me

  17. maryjanerain

Did you check out the bathrooms? Location near me has tire sinks with confusing lever handles

  18. Sir_Space_Naught

Is that place even good? I drive by it almost daily and have never been…

  19. bluesky747

Cause you’re at Fords Garage, this is a choice.

If y’all can’t appreciate an on-theme place setting at the FORD restaurant, then you’ve lost the plot. Everyone’s acting like they pulled the “napkin” straight out of a Jiffy Lube.

  21. BigDaddyReptar

Idk I don’t see the issue tbh. And hell it’s reusable so I’ll take that over paper napkins with paper wraps any day of the week, I feel for the servers rolling it though

  22. MonsteraBigTits

so im thinking you are at either the ft myers, cape coral, or detroit location….ima guess ft myers

  23. gold1actual

When I think of good food and a good restaurant, the first thing I think of is car parts

  24. A+ on your student theme restaurant presentation!

  25. NefariousnessNo4873

    It’s because it’s a Michelin star restaurant
