Might be a little greasy, but give her a break, she made dinner

looks like she made it with fresh rice instead of day old rice. that can only result in disaster lol

  3. That non-stick pan has seen better days. The coating looks completely worn off in places… Unless that’s stuck on rice 🤣

Fried rice is kind of hard at home when the burner doesn’t really get hot enough

didn’t use day old rice i take it? prob still tasted dope

  6. A common mistake the rice was too wet. Usually the best way to dry out your rice is the leave it in the fridge overnight. But another way is to make it fresh then just put it in a warm oven spread out over a baking sheet. Make sure you are using the right amount of water as well when you are cooking the rice.

As an Asian this disappoints me but I know we all gotta start somewhere.

My mom INSISTS on using rice right out of the cooker and won’t listen to my recommendations. Even after they liked my version better, she refuses. Soy sauce, chewy scrambled eggs and canned mushrooms. Nothing else.

Always use day old rice. Plus, is she deep frying the rice?
