I followed a recipe that used beets to help with the coloring. But I guess I didn't blend it well enough. It looks a little speckled.

I recently got one of those small handheld vacuum sealers. Pretty excited about that. Going to try to make all this last for a while.

And I tried making breaded fried mac and cheese balls for the first time.

    If you’ve got more than you can easily use, it probably freezes well. My usual method with seitan is too make a double or triple batch and freeze whatever I don’t need. I’ve never had it come out bad.

  4. I love the versatility of seitan. I guess I made my ribs wrong and ended up with delicious pizza fingers.
