I also planted bell peppers purchased at the farmers market and these are not bell peppers!!
I guess this is a common question. AI says hatch chilis for the green and “red chili pepper” for the red. Any other/better IDs? Thanks!

Look closer to Anaheims.

They might be sweet cherry peppers. Have you tried one?

Cherry peppers and Anaheims is my best guess

looks like the red could be small bell peppers. especially if the pot isn’t super large

I grew peppers like those last year. They weren’t hot, they were sweet and pretty mild. The plant made a lot of them but I didn’t really know what to do with them. Most of them ended up in chili.

If they are hatch chilis I would count that as a win! I love hatch chilis. I know they are a NM thing, but I couldn’t get enough of the hatch chilis season when I lived in Texas.

If you mean you planted seeds you saved from bell peppers you bought at a market, and you got peppers that aren’t bell peppers, that’s because the bell peppers you bought were likely hybrid bell peppers.
