2. Tomato Sauce: Sauté 1 small chopped onion in 2 tbsp butter until translucent. Add 3-4 minced garlic cloves, ¼ tsp oregano, ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in 2 cups marinara sauce. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
3. Cheese Filling: Mix 450g ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella, ⅓ cup Parmesan, 1 egg, ¼ cup chopped parsley, ½ tsp oregano, ½ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp black pepper.
4. Assemble: Spread sauce in a baking dish. Stuff shells with cheese mixture and place in the dish. Top with 1 cup shredded mozzarella.
5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake at 190°C (375°F) for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 more minutes.
6. Serve: Let cool for 10-15 minutes, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!
