I agree. It looks like a piece of meat thats… unwell. I had to look twice to realise it was lasagna.

“deconstructed” might actually be my most hated food term.

  3. stickytuna

Nothing about this says lasagna to me, but it looks like it tasted good

By the way, on the menu there is no mention that they are going to serve it like this, I would have never ordered it otherwise…

Thought it was sliced up steak at first glance

i mean….. it’s not even deconstructed. it’s just a long thinboi slice of lasagna, and the crema is on the side instead of on top.

honestly most ‘deconstructed’ plates are tiny bits of bullshit on a mostly empty plate. i’m surprised you actually got a full plate of food here.

    not half bad idk

What I assume is balsamic sprinkled on the dish has formed a penis shape on the front left side. I feel as though this was an appropriate design, choice or not.

This does not look good at all. And the brown liquid leaking around the ricotta and mozzarella? Balsamic? No one knows….. Yikes!! I would nope out of that one.

Idk, I get it, I think it looks pretty good

  10. Do you pay extra for the pasta? Ooooh! You must have ordered the KETO lasagna.

  11. TheJuiceBoxS

Looks like it’s just mostly just cut differently. I’d eat eat.

It might be okay, although I’d prefer it “constructed”. It’s the melding of the flavors together as it cooks that makes it so good. Like the flavor of the sauce should be infused into the meat and cheese and vice versa. This does not look good at all to me.

You can fight them. This is grounds for fisticuffs.

  14. SlapStickBiggot

Everyone’s talking about it being “deconstructed” but no one is mentioning how much of a rip off that is.

It’s not deconstructed, it’s thinly sliced. Deconstructed would be like having a sloppy Joe with a side of pasta.

  16. Agile-Fruit128

Did you order it? If so, is it really the food that is stupid?

  17. 2007pearce

The bechamel is still technically on the top of the lasagna

  18. If it’s truly deconstructed, shouldn’t the noodles and the meat be separated?

  19. There’s pasta between meat. That feels constructed. But other than that nit, looks funny
