An Italian restaurant that has served guests in central Fayetteville for the last couple years has closed its doors.
According to owner Lance Corbin, Pestos by Lance held its last dinner service on Saturday, May 17, and the restaurant has permanently closed. The restaurant served a variety of pasta dishes, pizzas, and other entrees.
Corbin said a combination factors, including personal issues, economic issues, rising costs and others led to the closure.
“We are so thankful to all our customers for their support these last couple years,” he said.
The restaurant, located at 1830 N. College Ave., moved into the space that was the longtime home of Pesto Cafe after that restaurant closed in late 2022.
Corbin, a private chef who moved to the region to work for Tyson Foods in 2018, took over the lease of the College Avenue building in February of 2023.
Corbin said he plans to officially announce the closure on the restaurant’s social media pages later today.
