..just looking at these makes me nervous..
I cut one open and touched the tip of the knife on my tongue. And the heat is instantly there.. Eating one of these is sure hellfire. However, the smell coming off it… wow.. intense fruitiness. Very distinct smell. Quite unique too.
I don't have the tolerance. So.. I'm trying something different and making a tincture with 40% Vodka. See if I can extract some of that unique flavor. Maybe going to dry a couple as well. See if that kills some of the heat.
I grew them for bragging rights. Nothing else.. Still don't want to waste the pods. Any other ideas what to do with these?

Such a beautiful looking pepper. Please post your vodka tincture results because I am curious.
Man up and eat it. Just joking. You could make hot sauce with them and add as many as you like. Or make flakes,… Tons of things you can do with them
I will put a chopped up pod in my fried potatoes in the morning. Wakes me and my stomach up
I always try the first one of each plant 😅 gotta know what I’m getting or giving people. But bbq sauces hot sauces, throw it in chili with some shredded cheese sour cream plus if you’re slow cooking it, all the heat really doesn’t hit ya till it’s coming out your second taste buds lmao
Dehydrate them and powder them for quick seasonings to make stuff spicy. I would suggest when powdering you do it outside if possible and wear face & eye protection. First time I powdered reapers I made the kitchen air spicy and choked up my wife across the room. Always wear gloves when prepping them unless you just like scratching flames into shit for a couple hours lol
Chocolate Ghost is overwhelmingly earthy
That’s a beautiful pepper.
