Popular supermarket wine brand Yellow Tail is celebrating the ‘Aussie spirit’ and the joy of ‘doing your own thing’ with a series of three new TV ads.
Developed by independent creative agency Isobel in its first work for the New South Wales-based brand since securing its account last year, the campaign breaks this week across nationwide TV screens.
‘Good on ya’ sees the series of spots showcasing carefree people living in the moment and focusing solely on what makes them happy – intending to act as reflection of the traditionally laid back Australian spirit.
“Yellow Tail is the Aussie-spirited, unpretentious wine that doesn’t judge. They make brilliant wine for people who know what they like in life. It’s wine for people who are happy for people being happy… Good on ya!” said Ben Stump, ECD at Isobel.

With media planning and buying handled by London-based media agency The7stars, the films will run across broadcast TV as well as broadcaster video-on-demand.
Kevin Chinn, director of marketing Europe at Yellow Tail added: “This is the first work produced by isobel since their appointment as Yellow Tail’s brand partner last year, and we’re really excited about the potential it has to deepen our connection with existing Yellow Tail fans while also helping to bring new consumers to the brand.
“We’re committed to investing in [yellow tail] and delivering innovative and engaging campaigns that celebrate the spirit that defines our brand.”
