When to harvest? These are red hot chilli peppers, do I wait for them to turn red?

They’ll sing unintelligible lyrics that are thinly veiled metaphors for heroin, in their underwear. That’s how you know they’re peak.

Ive grown these before theyre awesome and it’s possible some will turn red after picking but it has a chance to dry out before that. I recommend waiting until red if you want them hot

Put it on the other side or under the bridge if you don’t want it to ripen too fast or you could give it away if it makes too many peppers. Once you start eating them, you can’t stop.

Pick one and try it. You’ll probably find that you don’t like the flavor. I’d say wait for them to ripen.

What are they, Tabasco? If so they are already haf. At least mine are. And you should have plenty more where those came from.

  6. It depends on what you want from them. Red has more flavor and heat

I like green in salads, they’re spicy, but not mouth burning..and imho you can taste the chilli better. As for cooking, I like hot so red for cooking..and I add the majority to what I’m cooking, say con carne, after it’s cooked and mix through.
