I just watched a Binging with Babish episode on a bunch of ways to cook a hot dog. They all looked really fucking.good, and there were so many. Yours is not one of them.

Bacon is usually on the outside so it gets crispy. If I’m putting bacon into something I cook it by itself first and then add it.
I’m sure this tastes fine, but moist and juicy bacon just *sounds* unappetizing.

Next time wrap the bacon around the dog before your cook
It will take some time to render the fat from the bacon strip so try and adjust for flareups
