BABYLON, NY — The Town of Babylon’s annual food festival is returning in May.
The second annual festival will go off at Town Hall on Saturday, May 17, from noon to 5 p.m. According to the town, it’s a “vibrant community event celebrating Italian culture, cuisine and history.”
The festival will feature “delicious” offerings from food vendors, live music, a DJ and a display of classic cars by LaFamiglia Cadillac Club.
“The Italian Food Festival is a wonderful way to celebrate our shared heritage, support local businesses and bring our community together,” said Councilman Anthony Manetta. “I also encourage everyone to contribute to our Pasta and Sauce Food Drive, which helps local families in need. Let’s enjoy great food, great music and great company while making a difference.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring a pasta or sauce donation in support of Manetta’s 6th Annual Pasta and Sauce Food Drive. Additionally, guests can learn about the rich history of Italian heritage in the Town of Babylon at a special exhibit in the Town Board Room.
The rain date is Sunday, May 18.
