Paner Khash or Baner Khash is basically Armenian mac and cheese! I found this dish during my travels through Armenia while I was in the city of Gyumri. This is a dish made with a few ingredients that you can make in less than 20 minutes.
.
1 package of @toufyanlavash available on Amazon
2 cups grated string cheese
1 onion diced
2 Tb butter
.
Sauté butter and onions in a pan over medium-high heat. Add lavash and cheese to an oven-proof bowl and top with the butter mixture. Add 3/4 cup of boiling water. Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 15 minutes.
