I currently own a Weber q1200 so this would be a significant upgrade.

Yeah, this is a great deal. For reference, I got a similar model about 10 years ago for around $1k.

Those grates? F’ing amazing. They won’t rust and fall apart if you don’t baby them frequently like cast iron grates. It’s real stainless steel – something I feared was just a marketing gimmick in our interesting time.

The sear burner is p. sweet too. Easily gets to 700+ degrees after a few minutes.

Great grill at a great price. Stop wasting time here and get in line before someone else snags the last one.

I have that model and I absolutely love it. I feel like it was around 1300 when I bought mine a few years ago. It’s hard to beat the 10-year warranty.

I was about to say for that price get a Weber instead, and then I zoomed in

  4. IBoomerFightMe

I paid $1,000 for that six years ago. I may be made of lighter materials now, i don’t know.

It depends on a lot of factors..
    a. How many people do you typically cook for. That’s a lot of cooking space.
    b. I have had many gas grills in my lifetime (52 years old), and I’ve only ever used a side burner once.. your mileage may vary, but I find it unnecessary. You can get good 4 burner grills for less than $799 at Lowes or Home Depot..

Great price and deal. I’m not a fan of gas grills but if i got one this would probably be it. Make sure to buy a cover too. Go on amazon and order the cover to save a few bucks.

  7. PickaDillDot

Their grills are built like tanks, can’t go wrong with a Weber. Good price too.

Buy a griddle I haven’t used my grill in 3 years since I got one.

  9. Low-Bad157

I paid 1k for mine about 12 years ago still like new replaced flavorizers twice in that time

I told my buddy yesterday to get the newer model, which is 1,400 at lowes. I have the model before this, paid 1,300 and probably one of my best all time purchases. 11 years and still works like new. I changed the burners and covers last year for $80. Buy it dude.

  11. You can never go wrong with a Weber Propane grill. Price looks pretty decent also

  12. stlchapman

Yep, it’s a good deal. They are about $100 more at Ace Hardware, but they will assemble it for you… which I think is totally worth it.

  13. Consistent_Context45

I bought one slightly used on FB marketplace and spruced it up. Couldn’t be happier.

I have a question about length of flavorizor bars for this model – are they 17.1in? Does anyone know where I can find Weber specific flavorizor bars? Does length vary by year this model is manufactured?

Been trying unsuccessfully for about a week now.

I had a Weber Genesis for years and absolutely loved it. Great grill.

  15. LawAbidingKoala

This is awesome! I paid ~$1200 for a 3burner model last year that didn’t even have a side burner from Ace Hardware 🥲

  16. WestCoastGriller

Good deal. Yeah. This was 1200+ CDN new when it came out. I wouldn’t buy a 2017-2022 tho.

The new Genesis (2025) are better.

Weber learned from that botched 2017 launch.

  17. Mecaneecall_Enjunear

I think I paid $1200 a couple years ago at Costco for my 4 burner Genesis II. Damn good deal.

  18. Bob_12_Pack

This seems to be the current going price at Lowe’s and TSC where I live. I’m holding out for a good clearance price or store model discount later this year.

  19. VeryVino20

I recently bought the Sam’s club/ members mark version of this grill for $279 and have been really impressed with it so far.  Only difference is the extra burner is on the left not the right.  Even with the $50 annual memberships it’s a good deal comparatively.

  20. kevinzak76

I have that exact grill as well and it’s great.

  21. Interesting_Put-

Mine has 1 less burner and I paid more at Costco about a year ago, great deal

  22. Melodic-Matter4685

I have yet to see a grill on a costco floor that wasn’t a terrific deal.

  23. my local costco still has these for $999. id definitely buy if its $200 off

  24. PublicRefrigerator99

Yeah this is the genesis 2 line (now discontinued) and is the last of the genesis line that was heartily made and built to last. The new models are made of cheap sheet metal and they’ve cut corners drastically since they were acquired.

  25. Extra_Original2737

online at costco is showing $1349 less 200 for $1149.99. i’m not sure where you live, but this is a huge difference in price. very disappointing

  26. useful_tool30

Seems like a good deal. The only thing to watch out for is rust on the stand which is what eventually kills these grills since you can buy replacement burners and flame spreaders rather inexpensively. Keep it covered with a breathable cover and you should be good for at least a decade unless you live near the ocean.

  27. martmeister77

I paid that for a Spirit 3 burner so price wise it’s a great deal. The one big game changer for me was the smart features. Not sure if this is available with this model. AND having Costco assemble it for you and deliver is worth EVERY PENNY!

  28. Confident-Beyond6857

That’s a gas grill, I thought you were looking for a big boy one.
