I work at a liquor store and have been exploring wine options, I’ve come to like Sauvignon Blanc and just some good whites in general. We got this in not too long ago and our wine expertise said its great but i wanted to post on here and if anyone else has any say on this one because its $50

  1. It’s a great white wine, done in all concrete if I remember correctly

Epoch has some decent wines. I’ve had their estate blend a couple of times and I really liked them. I’d say go for it!

Haven’t had the white, but their reds are fantastic!

    Also, it’s pronounced “Epic”.

  4. Yes. They make some great wines. Haven’t had them in a few years but used to by them regularly from their website.

Great producer! I’ve loved everything I’ve tasted from them.

  6. We’re club members at Epoch. Fantastic wines and stunning tasting room and wine making facility. Just a short drive west of Paso Robles.

Their reds are great but can’t help thinking you can get better style adjacent whites from CDR or languedoc for half the price, depending on where you’re at

  8. Loved their Ingenuity, but haven’t seen the white

  9. Yes. It is really good! Great blend of northern Rhine varietals. I sell it on my list.

For balance – no, never heard of them.

Had this a couple of month’s back. Really enjoyed it. I need to seek out more.

Would guess this to be quite mouth filling even if they don’t use oak. Based on their region and the varieties – it may be a bit heavier bodied and lower on acid, unless they acidify…

I have had this! It’s been a few years but I remember it as fantastic. If anyone is ever on the central coast in CA. Stop by Avila Wine & Roasting, where I had this, and you can find some harder to find CA wines like this one. Owner is a great guy
