I just bought a new Traeger Woodbridge from Home Depot and this came with the grill. I thought it was part of the grill or an accessory included (open box version for show, sold to me on the spot), but I legitimately cannot figure out what this would be for. I thought it was to hold wood chips or something at first but I can’t even really figure out what that would be necessary. Any ideas?

Water pan maybe
Would it be a grease catcher? My 780 pro has an external grease trap
looks like a grease trap. Check the bottom of the main chamber for a drain hole. This would insert from the outside near the drain.
Drip tray for grease draining.
LOL! It’s for spare parts.
Grease trap
Did you buy it in the box or already assembled?
I have a Woodridge Pro. I assembled it. There is nothing like that for the Pro.
Someone out there just bought an open box smoker and is yelling “Where the F is my grease catch?!”
That’s for when you fail and dry out your brisket, you cry into it.
That’s a grease trap
