As far as I can tell, this ferritin level is low enough to be concerning. I do have increasing symptoms of brain fog, fatigue, and limited recovery from exercise, which admittedly might just be getting due to getting older. I’m mid 40s, male, WFPB. Other blood work generally looks good. Thanks for any help.

How is zinc , vit A , D, and others? Yes you could try iron bisglycinate with a vit C every other day.
I use the [Holland and Barrett ABC-Z](https://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/holland-barrett-vegan-multivitamin-mineral-tablets-6100132408) supplement.
But I also have whole wheat pasta for dinner and rolled oats for breakfast which have a fair amount of iron too (both also good for lots of micronutrients.)
Tbh, I think above 30ng/ml is fine. I don’t know what logic the lab is using to use 38 as the cutoff.
Looks like your iron is good. Most functional medicine doctors would say an optimal ferritin level is about 70-80. Flora Ferritin is plant based and available on Amazon – pretty affordable.
