I promise my food scale isn’t broken 😅 It’s only like this for these rolls! Every other packaged food I’ve weighed so far is a few calories off at most. But this? This is crazy off! What gives? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Trust the food scale, sometimes food weighs more than they say it is 🥲🥲

Dont forget to add fiber in 2 cals per gram

  4. If you weigh all the buns together are they 340g ? Or is the net weight of your whole pack closer to 600g…

The product in the pack has to meet at minimum the net declared weight (with some tolerance based on FDA, I think this is US?) anyway, sometimes manufacturing companies mess up weights and decided to pack over weights because it’s a loss for them but still meets the minimum net weight.

It’s always better to weigh baked items like this, buns, other types of sliced breads 🙈

Is it talking about like just one half of the bun?????? I really don’t know I’m genuinely confused

Kinda funny, over on r/shrinkflation it’s all examples of products coming in small and here they’re giving you double size rolls!

I’d log as a double serving. But what we don’t know is how much of that extra weight is water weight (the #2 ingredient)

Hey, so with many pre cut pastries the calories is just for half a product, for some reason.
