We are having some amazing weather for late may in Oregon, these are gonna be monsters. Had amazing results last year when someone gifted these to me. Cant wait to see how this year turns out with a few adjustments made.

I use the Charly Chil Pods since 3 years and I’m very happy with them!

    Gro Buckets!

I’ve been using them for a few years now, they work very good!

This year I premixed in Down To Earth all purpose fertilizer into the happy frog mix 2.5weeks before I transplanted. To let some stuff break down before planting into it. Also using great white myco, due to the wide range of fungi/bacteria in it. Should do great, cant wait to see the results.

I also reduced the number of plants per earthbox. So they have more soil/room to grow.

Earth boxes are crazy powerful. You can toss in some worms too. They’ll hangout and do work.

This year I’m doing a self-watering experiment by burying a small olla in one of the pots. We’ll see how it does compared with the others when it gets hot this summer.

I have a late started seedling I plan to put in one, mostly because I don’t want to re-do my irrigation

Should be great for compact chinense varieties, i grew large physalis plants in them last year and they toppled over daily.

Always. Be warned that some varieties just don’t like that much water available, like Aji Charapita. Mine never do well in self watering containers, but if I put them in a regular container and forget to water for a week, they end up super happy and healthy.

I do but just herbs, peppers like wide and shallow containers

Yep, I inherited like 60 GardenPatch Grow Boxes and I’ve got almost all my peppers in them. When we hit those no rain months in the middle of the summer I get tired of filling the basin but for me, they work better than my raised beds. The incredibly concentrated fertilizer probably helps.
