$140 for 1/2 lb brisket, 1/2 lb turkey, 1.86 lb beef rib, 4 small sides, and 2 regular drinks. I miss pre-2020 bbq prices.

Yeah man that food is pretty damn good and all, but i just can’t afford those prices these days. I make my own, im good at it, and i love doing it. My family loves it. I pay a fraction of this. Believe me if i could pay those prices, i would. That place is spectacular.

Paying $30/lb or more for brisket makes no sense. Ever. No matter how good it is. It’s a trash cut of meat that requires low and slow to be decent let alone good or great.

I think people in Texas need help.

I went to the one in Austin. Ordered a few things and about hit the floor when they said $76. That was just for me and enough to take a bit of leftovers back home for the wife to try

Fuck the hype. Come on up to KC. We will take care of you at a fraction of that price. And it’ll taste better.

Most over hyped spot in Texas didn’t even make the top 50 in TM

Beef ribs are good but a scam if you are worried about price.

I saw the picture and immediately thought worth $75.

Line cook/pit guy needs to learn how to slice brisket. That hunk is way too thick, at least for my tastes.

Terry Blacks seems to be at the forefront of seeing just how much they can charge before people quit going, I’ve had multiple DFW spots but I can’t seem to try this one.

$140 thanks for letting us know. That price is ridiculous. Were you expecting it to be that much?
