Muhammara is Middle Eastern dip made from roasted red peppers, bread and walnuts. Originally from Aleppo, Syria, this vibrant spread has become a staple across the Middle East, and is now gaining popularity worldwide. It’s the perfect side dish to grilled meat and veggies. Serve with some bread and you have the perfect meal!

📝 MUHAMMARA INGREDIENTS (4 servings)
2 red bell peppers (aka capsicum)
1 Lebanese bread (or breadcrumbs)
50 g (1/3 cup) walnuts
1 Tbsp olive oil (extra for garnish)
2 tsp pomegranate syrup
2 tsp tomato paste
1 tsp chili paste
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 clove of garlic (optional)
