We have three fig trees in our house in Italy. As a kid, I loved them with prosciutto crudo up until I found out how fig trees are pollinated. Took me a while to get over it and eat them again.
I have noticed a small tree in our garden in England that the leaves look like a fig tree. Hope it is.

No. One of the blandest fruits ever. On par with mulberries. But you *can* use them for some fruit brandy.
