As a English guy I've always wanted too try a pumpkin pie but i reckon il wait years too try it & be really disappointed 😂 can any American describe what it tastes like or what its similar too?
One of my favs!!
These two are quite annoying twerking over everything.
Wash that down with bourbon and ur not gonna care if a nuke goes next to u
I've seen vintage recipes for Pecan Pie. I think you wouldn't get that super sweet flavor, more Pecan. I plan on trying it.
If anyone wants to know the original pronunciation, it's pe-khan, based on the Miami word Pekaani– this is part of the same Algonquian language group as Francified Ojibwe root origins (think of how town names like "Ashwaubenon" and "Chequamegon" are pronounced.) Also, the Ojibwe word for pecan is Begaan, and pie is Biitoosijigan.
You don't have pecan 🥧 pie's from where you come from ; pronounced two different ways in the United States: Pee can or Pa con
My favorite is bourbon chocolate pecan pie!
Every piece of pie HAS to have ice cream on it or at least whipped cream!
We do not say PEE-CAN.
Put 2 to 3 Tablespoons of burbon whiskey in your pecan pie mixture before baking. AMAZING. 😋🥰
It’s not peecan. It’s pecan
Nope, I say Pecan how he said it the first time. I’m American.. we all aren’t the same lol
My wife's grandmother every tree in her yard was pecan trees. The family would get together and rake them when they fall and bag them. It was trash bags full. Use them to make pies or just eat raw.
I'm looking forward to doing a food tour down south when I next visit the States. My only concern is American food is usually far too sweet, salty or greasy for my pallette and i end up sick.
We do have pecan pie in the UK. That looks exactly like that 😋
Pecan pie 🥰 My favorite pie . We only have it at Christmas .
I'm so glad to see you both appreciate that pie. Honestly, I've not yet grown to enjoy that 1.
Did you ever stop to consider that, upon returning home, you will never be satisfied with the bland foods of your homeland? Get all the recipes while you’re here.
Okay😊
