Tried to make a 90% whole wheat loaf, needless to say it did not go well…😂

I did not mix it well enough nor develop the gluten for good dough strength, I knew as soon as I shaped it, it was gonna be bad, but didn’t wanna waste it. Does anyone have any suggestions on uses? Aside from a frisbee lmao.
I hate to throw away food!!

I was going to say a frisbee 😂 can you make croutons?! Or like crostini to go in soup?

Cut it into strips and dip it into olive oil! You may not even have to pour it out of the bottle 😊

Slice it down the middle like you would a bagel or English muffin, stuff it with sandwich things, wrap and press it for a few hours then slice into wedges and devour.

It would be nice for a cheese board! Like as the board

  5. Floatation device. Nothing is penetrating that sucker 😂

    Frizbee!

Go medieval and use it as a trencher.

Hold onto it for the next time you see a bigot at a Pride parade. Let it get nice and stale.

I would make baked French toast sticks, for the freezer.

Croutons, bread crumbs, or one of my personal favorites is a 18th century saurkraut soup or the porridge recipe that used crumbled sourdough for the savory pub grub version. I kinda combine tye last two. Saw them a couple years back on Townsend 18th century cooking on YouTube.

But yeah, unless you cancut or slice it to make things like French or cinnamon toast, garlic bread, etc it’s best using for soups, stews, croutons, or breadcrumbs.

You could break up and use as breading for fried chicken or fried pork chops too, or break up, add egg, and a few other ingredients to maje either pancakes or potato cakes. Heck as bread crumbs you can use to make fish cakes and casseroles abd several other things.

Bread crumbs and croutons are basic, but breadcrumbs used as ingredients is very versatile.

Dice it up. Freeze it. Now it’s ready for thanksgiving stuffing.

There are some really good salads that call for hard dry bread pieces like Fattoush or Panzanella..

I thought this was a giant chocolate chip cookie, and it looked so glorious 🤣 I now have to go bake some cookies.

It’s still bread! Slice it and eat it with butter. Even my worst loaves were fine with butter.

Put three legs on it and make a stool. 😂
