And would you/did you try the viral tik tok trend of putting a slice of jalepeno in it?

New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc has been my Saturday afternoon guilty pleasure for years

  2. Mahi’s Boundary Farm was a welcome break from conventional NZ Sauv Blanc. Rich, round and peachy with all the liveliness of its neighbors. And no TikTok trends are stupid.

My 3 go too because they’re affordable. If I want to splurge I’ll get a sancere.

  4. Austrian Sauvignon blanc is far superior to all others.

I will happily take the downvotes for this.

    Gross. Ideally Nussberg.

Also, no Jalapeño in wine, not for me.

  6. Craggy Range Te Muna Single Vineyard and Alain Gueneau La Guiberte Sancerre

  7. I think I New Zealanded myself out on inexpensive Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, but if anyone knows some non-stereotypical NZ ones to try that can be found in NYC, I’m all ears! Had some made Loire Valley-grown wine recently that was much more appealing to my current palette.

White Bordeaux is my go to for Sauvignon Blanc. A bit of Semillon goes a long way to add a touch of body and richness that I like.

Moritz Kissinger Sauvignon b. I had it served with a green asparagus, mint n strWberry salad once, the pairing blew my mind. Now I re create it every year at home

I’ve had some really great Sancerre Sauv Blanc, can’t remember the names of any producers though. But I can’t remember ever having a bad one. From California I love the Cade Sauv Blanc

  11. My new favorite is Mowe.

My old favorite is Mondavi I Block.

Definitely Loire Valley. Cali and New Zealand SB is just not my jam.

  13. Daily drinker: St. Supery

    Surprisingly decent: Rombauer

Go big or go home: Dagueneau Silex

Clos Henri from NZ (beeswax and grapefruit)

I had the SB at Frog’s Leap and it was excellent.

Domaine Pascal Cotat Sancerre Les Monts Damnés! Tried it for the first time this year and I fell in love with it. Shame I can’t seem to find anymore in my city. For everyday drinking when I don’t feel like spending so much, Te Mata Estate and Wairau River from New Zealand.

Some favorites I always go back to are Craggy Range, Domaine Vacheron, and Accendo Cellars.

Pascal Cotat Sancerre “Les Monts Damnés” – I don’t mess around when it comes to my summer sauvy b

Tiare Collio 2022. Tenth straight Tres Biccheiri. And about $30. Best SB in the world? The Bordelaise said it was.

Rapuara springs reserve, New Zealand is hitting great for the price at the moment!

I’m not too knowledgeable about Sauv blancs but I really liked the Stag’s Leap Aveta when I tried it at a wine dinner.

Chateau les Maubats 2023 is crazy value
