Hey everyone! I’ve recently been making lots of desserts from SBA! These are my thoughts on what I’ve made recently:

Lemon blueberry babka – PHENOMENAL and I can’t stop eating it!! I’m going to make the cinnamon apple one next week to see if it is as good

Carrot cake – the best carrot cake I’ve had honestly, I made this for my dad’s birthday. He loved it

Lemon oat bars – very addicting, the crust/topping is to die for

Glazed coconut lime cookies – decent, I don’t think I’d make them again

Soft dinner rolls – delicious and easy to make! I had a tried and true dinner roll recipe but recently tried these and I don’t know if I’ll ever make my old recipe again

I would love to know your favorite recipes of hers! Or honestly, any of your favorite recipes that I can access online. If you can, provide a link 🙂

    Ooooh, great post!

    My favorites:

    – that carrot cake is divine

    – the pumpkin cookies with the brown butter glaze are absolutely scrumptious

    – the chewy chocolate chip cookies are the best ccc’s I’ve ever had, by a long-shot

    – the soft multigrain sandwich bread is in regular rotation (it freezes wonderfully)

    – the super moist chocolate cupcakes are sinfully good. https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/super-moist-chocolate-cupcakes/

    – not SBA, but I dream of this cake and will make many many times again – you HAVE to try it with orange zest!!!!  https://www.piesandtacos.com/almond-cake

ETA:  how could I forget the cookie recipe that started me on my baking journey?!  I weigh these out to 20g each before I roll them. I think they are best when they are a bit smaller – https://www.gimmesomeoven.com/chewy-ginger-molasses-cookies/

  2. My favorite of Sally’s is the bagels, so easy to follow and always turns out perfect, they never last till the next day

And I second the carrot cake

I’m trying the babka this week for the challenge! My favorite? Her iced oatmeal cookies but I add cinnamon chips. Heavenly.

  4. Brownbuttericing

Her strawberry cream cheese frosting is a dream

  5. Little-Blueberry-968

Our family love her chocolate zucchini bread, cheesecake bars, and her banana crumble coffee cake

  6. Mokamochamucca

Her chocolate sandwich cookies with peppermint candy cane buttercream are a go to every Christmas. I also love her Peanut Butter Cup stuffed cookies

  7. technocatmom

Just made her healthier chocolate banana muffins for the second time this week

I have two of her books- Sally’s Baking Addiction and Sally’s Cookie Edition. I have made some recipes from the cookie edition, and I like everything I have made so far! I still want to bake more from that and bake from the baking addition hook, and this week I’ve decided I want to look through to pick out a few recipes to try. I definitely want to get her new book too.

I have me some of her online recipes and I think my favourite has to be the white chocolate chai snickerdoodles. They are so yummy and always a hit when I make them! Recipe is here https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/white-chocolate-chai-snickerdoodles/

  9. Melaniedramatic

I adore her maple brown sugar cookies. They’re phenomenal!

  10. I just made her lemon poppyseed cake today and it was fun! I think she’s a great go to for so many recipes! I also am a huge fan of Claire Saffitz – join us at r/dessertperson if you also are a fan!

That banana cake easily one of my faves..

  12. Scspencer25

Her vanilla cake is the best! I also like her sandwich bread, maple cookies, and Snickerdoodle cake.

  13. Nanananabatperson

Sally’s master muffin recipie. I was making that every other day for a few weeks. It’s brilliant and makes wonderful muffins.

  14. YEGKerrbear

The Lemon Rolls, basically cinnamon rolls but with lemon sugar, were incredible

The Cream Cheese Pound Cake is one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever baked

Her Gingerbread Cookie Bars & Sugar Cookie Bars a staple and I always get compliments. I also use the M&M Cookie Bar recipe as a base for other variations with different mix ins

Friggen love Sally haha she’s the not so secret to my success!

  15. JustMediocreAtBest

The lemon crinkle cookies are sooo good!

  16. clov3r-cloud

Master Scone Recipe. Sweet or savoury, your choice .

  18. cmgstylist

    Pumpkin Bread
    Coconut Snowballs no bake,
    Very Peanut Butter Cookies.
    All Sally’s recipes. So delicious.

  19. historyboeuf

Her sprinkle cookies! So full of sprinkles and nice and soft and delicious!

I will stand by this [banana bread recipe](https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/banana-bread-with-pecans-recipe-1941648), it is 100% the best one I’ve ever had (and I even make it gluten free and it’s still amazing), my mom has been making it since I was a kid and I make it for my husband and toddler! These [blueberry muffins](https://www.inspiredtaste.net/18982/our-favorite-easy-blueberry-muffin-recipe/) are the bomb, again even when you use gluten free flour (I use King Arthur’s GF cup for cup flour).

  21. plantylibrarian

Her Banana Bread recipe is the best on the internet IMO.

  22. ThatChiGirl773

My favorite SBA recipe is the oatmeal cream pies. Everyone raves about them when I take them somewhere. I’m not a huge fan of cake so I rarely make her cake/cupcake recipes. One exception is the peanut butter cupcakes. Those are so good! Oh, and her scones. Those are magical, they’re not like other scones. I can’t really even explain what or why. They’re just so stinkin’ good.

  23. Fit-Winter5363

I learned to bake pies from her site. My first one was the pumpkin pie and it was such a hit at thanksgiving, I’ve made it year after year . And the brown sugar sweet potato pie is delicious.
The cookies and cream cookie recipe is to die for!

  24. Open_Temperature_567

Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cream Cheese frosting. The only change I made was folding in heavy whipping cream (that was whipped to stiff peaks) to lighten up the frosting consistency. I even froze these cupcakes after they had been frosted and they tasted amazing from frozen when left in the refrigerator overnight.

  25. glitterandcat

The stout brownies. Incredible. I think my fave brownie recipe of all time.

  26. books-and-baking-

Chocolate layer cake. It’s my go to and family members ask for it every birthday. I make it at least 6 times a year.

  27. widefeetwelcome

I use her bakery style muffin recipe as a base for all my muffins-they turn out beautifully every time!

  28. SoySauceandMothra

I’m a happily basic bitch: her Hostess chocolate cupcake “homages” are a nuclear winter for my waistline and/or the perfect excuse to go on a three-hour trail run.
