I need help. My plant was doing so well then within a few days it's like almost dead. Is there still hope??? Did I water too much or not enough? Is it too much sun?

Needs a bigger pot and way more soil. Try a 10 gallon grow bag and fill to the top with soil. 20 gallons is even better.
Bags dry out fast, so water everyday and fertilize frequently.

How many plants are in there? Far too little soil to sustain even one plant, but it looks like you may have many more. Remove the dead leaves and up pot. Even just filling the current pot with soil would make some difference.

I made this mistake last year – too many stems for one pot.
For those size pots 1-3 really healthy stems will yield fruit. I’m sticking to two this year, 1 is going to be my “control” sorta.

Is there a drainage hole in the bottom of the bucket?

Growing plants and pots is not optimal, but I assume you have a reason for it. I would lift the plant up and fill that entire bucket with good topsoil and compost. Do you have a 5 gallon bucket and it looks like it’s about half to 2/3 full. Fill that sucker up.
Trim off anything dead or dying. Thin out some of the lower branches.
A 5 gallon bucket is sufficient but bigger is better. It’ll be fine

I would make sure the bucket is filled up to the top with dirt
Also Make sure there’s holes at the bottom for drainage.

That’s blight. Looks a little too far gone. I keep fungicide on hand to prevent this. Also, why aren’t you filing the bucket up?
These are mine. Same bucket ! Full of soil and topped off with mulch. When I put my soil in I added my blood meal , bone meal , tomato tone. All 3 organic. This picture is from yesterday. Chicago. Weather has been kinda shitty. Cool at night ! Starting to warm up though. So hopefully they keep growing well. Good luck.

Why did you only fill the bucket half full of soil?

More drainage holes and more dirt
You got some blight going on
