I turned 25 the other day. When I returned home from a work trip I found this beauty sitting in my garage waiting for me!
Any recommendations on what I should make first? First timer here.

Ya don’t get this as a gift if you are not already good at grilling on some other grill. Grill what you are already best at, only get the better results on this dude. However, I would make a nice set of coals first. Fill with charcoal up to the holes in the fire ring so they are clear and exposed. Poke a fire starter down in the middle and light it. Start out with wide open vents top and bottom and close the lid. When the temp gage gets close to 225 close the bottom and top vents to slightly open and maintain that temp between 225 and 250 for an hour or so. Make some adjustments to the bottom and top vents and get it to the temp you were used to on your other grill. Get a feel for it. Cook whatever you were best at before, or your favorite protein. You will be amazed at how easy it is to maintain a temp. I used a Weber Kettle before the BGE for just about everything. My first cook was a 4 pound pork butt. Great gift!
