A hot burn will probably take it off. Mine had mold after a several month nap over the winter and that cleaned it up good.

Just built up smoke and grease deposits. Take a brush to get the crusty bits off to keep bits from falling on the cook.

Burn hot, then use a ball of foil to gently brush that crud off.

I used to do burn offs for this but havent in a while (like 2 years) and honestly it doesn’t seem to affect the flavors at all.

A dirty mf grill is what. Cleaned one with worse build up than that and even post high temp burn I was scraping stuff off with a spoon
