I don't eat meat so can't do a lot of fine dining – but wanted to take the opportunity to try this Buddhist cuisine that has a Michelin star in Tokyo.

Daigo's service and interior were phenomenal. I felt very very relaxed and the view of the garden was so serene.

The highlights of the food and beverage were:
the plum wine, sesame tofu, the soba with a spicy yam-based sauce.
the dessert strawberry was also the best strawberry I've had.

the seasonal japanese veg was very fresh and enjoyable!
Unfortunately everything kind of had the same taste – lightly pickled, lightly spicy, lightly sweet.

I just don't like the flavor profiles too much, I like big , bold, flavors, which I understand is not really a buddhist cuisine thing. Still, I wouldn't go back or recommend for that reason.
