Burger on toast is so much better than on a bun.
.33 of a pound of lean ground beef 93 / 7 ratio.
Mixed a bit with salt, pepper, onion powder, oregano, garlic.
Then flattened it really well and I put it in the air fryer.
I sautéed the onions and butter and used a slice of American cheese. Toasted bread for 1:75 minutes and done.

always great seeing “normal” meals here lol
Haven’t done it on toast but I did just swap out a regular McDonald’s bun for a Hero bun that I’m eating as we speak. Took a McDouble from 390cal, 2g fiber, 22g protein to 320cal, 22g fiber, and 27g protein and I hardly noticed a flavour difference. Next time I’m gonna take a page out of your book and toast the bun first
