I have an OG Joule, couldn't tell you when I got it but it's made its way through at least 3 states and probably 10+ apartments so I figured it was indestructible. After a recent cook, I took off the magnetic bottom to remove a piece of hair or string and as soon as the bottom came unscrewed the internal thread that holds it in place flaked off and I can see the stress marks on other parts.
This is going to fail fully soon. Is there anyone making this piece on their own or does anyone know if I can get one from ChefSteps? Breville seems to only sell the propeller and the magnetic base itself, not this threaded insert.

Honestly, contact Breville’s warranty department. I know it’s old. I know you’ve gotten a ton of use out of it.
It costs nothing to ask.
I’m pretty sure my own negligence killed two Joules, Breville replaced both under warranty essentially no questions asked.
They’re a great company and they stand behind their products. Customer service is what we pay the premium price for.
Email them. They send me a propeller when mine broke off when it was dropped. Didn’t ask for warranty information or anything.

I have had 3 Joules die on me; lucky that it wasn’t during a cook.
My OG Joule died by sucking water into the motor/electronics housing.
2 of my Joule Turbos’ motor seized. The 2nd Joule Turbo died the other day after a 30 hour pulled pork cook. The motor seized while I was doing the 1:1 vinegar:water clean.
ETA: The 2nd Joule Turbo was the warranty replacement for the 1st Joule Turbo.
That same thing happened to me last week. The machine started to make a pulsing grinding noise. Within 5 seconds of hearing it, the app on my phone told me the unit had encountered a serious error and I should call breville support. My breville was 16 months old. Breville took my info, asked for a screen shot of my purchase date of Amazon, and shipped me a new device. Diffrerent model as the one I had they no longer stock, but all in all, painless.
