  1. I’m not a hoarder btw. I’m cooking them all at once for an event. I was just happy I was able to get all prime.

  2. At 4.89 per pound? I’m glad you stocked up and are happy with it, but that just seems like the average price nowadays and not got to strike while the iron is hot price.

I bought 3 two weeks ago. First one I smoked had barely any meat in the point. IDK who puts the prime stickers on them.

  4. I have those same ones. Ig ot them frozen from US FOods, perks of access to restaurant ordering. Is your kind the type with Deckle off?

I thought I was in kitchen confidential seeing a restaurant depot trip post 😂

Costco meat is so ghetto. Dont think ive ever had anything good.

Show me you have a chest freezer without showing me you have a chest freezer. Haha.

13 prime? I’m curious to see what your smoker looks like?

  9. It never ceases to amaze me how, no matter what you post, someone always has a better price per pound, a better bark, better trim or something. I’m glad you got such a great price, OP!

I’d rather get choice. Those prime ones are 90% fat.

  11. Since you have the boxes, they will show the pack date (aka kill date). This gives you the information you need to wet age them. I like to go 30 days, and sometimes my Sam’s Club will have some cases in the walk-in cooler that already have 20+ days on them.

  12. That’s a lot of brisket! That sucks to normally pay $10.99 lbs. I’m glad you found a deal in your area.

Sequential lot numbers. You really did hit the lottery!

When’s the cookout? I’ll bring (checks notes) literally anything.

Somebody needs a chef friend who can just order what you want for much cheaper.

  16. NoPhilosopher6636

What are you going to do with all the trim?

  17. Debatable_Facts

Prices are getting outta control. Just last summer I was paying $3.99/lb for prime. Then late last year I was paying around $4.29/lb at my local Costco. Now $4.99/lb is a steal??

Remember this next time ya’ll say a BBQ restaurant is overcharging 😂

Nice! My Costco just has choice and it’s $4.69 lb

I just bought my first brisket ever from Costco today, so excited!

Yayyy!!! Now no one else can enjoy a nice smoke at a good price! You really stuck it to them!!!

  21. Slick_Karl

I have been at Costco when restaurant owners come in and clean them out. That just sucks for the rest of us.

  22. Ok_Magician4214

Because you were kind enough to share i was able to get me one from my local Costco! Thanks so much! Happy smokin!

  23. bendersnatch
