I miss a good South African Braai an after moving to the US the pellet and gas grills just didn’t quite hit the spot of making a fire and cooking with charcoal so have always been looking to try a Kamado grill. My wife said she would get one for my birthday and as I wasn’t sure I was ready to drop $2k to find out said I would look for a second hand one. Well I think it was meant to be saw a Classic Joe II with a cart 20mins down the road on marketplace for $1100 I offered $800 and they accepted when I went to pick it up the guy offered all his extras as he didn’t want to move them again so 120 lbs charcoal, charcoal basket, wood chunks (cherry, maple, pecan, apple), and joetisserie. Now it’s time to play 😁😁😁

wow! nice find!
What kind of cart is that ?
Awesome… only advice I would give is that the really large chunk charcoal (Fogo yellow bag) is great for smoking but for hot cooks and searing I prefer the medium lump (Fogo black bag) to keep from getting the bitter smoke taste on the hotter cooks.
Have fun!!!
Excellent score!!
Nice. Is the BB in a box new? I’m happy to pay an extra buck for “not a bag” container. How do I get this in my life? That must reduce at least a portion of the fines.
Great deal! Enjoy! Thats a great starting point.
