Made applewood smoked wings, grilled corn and bratwurst(forgot to photograph). I should have sauced both sides of the wings i think but I was too paranoid about overcooking them. Dry brined them overnight then applied rub and some avocado oil with the vortex and they were incredible. Corn was just grilled with avocado oil and some garlic and BBQ rub butter. Brats were just indirect cooked and then seared iver the fire, then i dropped then in a brat bath. I can definitely improve but my family think I'm a god so I'm happy lmao.

  1. Nicely done! I’d be all over those by the looks of ’em.

looks great! small nitpick, these aren’t applewood smoked. next time, put the wood in the vortex to actually ignite. great first try though!!! keep it up!

Amateur or not, I’d love to grab a plate full.

  4. Hey brother, those look great — just one advice — be careful with the engine reactor mode on those grates. The high heat will burn the grate’s stainless properties right off and then the middle of your grill gets rusted. Happened to me. If you want to use the vortex often, you can buy a grill where the center comes off for this mode.
