Other half was ordering some hot sauce so these seeds accidentally fell into the basket. Think it’s a little too late to start them this year, but they’re all ready for spring 2026!
Pic 2 – seeds I’ve grown this year, the real seed varieties were bought this year, the others were bought in 2023 but still had some success germinating them.
Pic 3 – the only survivor of my 2023 pepper growing attempt/massacre. Life got away from me and I forgot them in the greenhouse. Found this habanero still alive out there midsummer and it has been a house plant since.
Pic 4 – some of this years seedlings. Unsure whether all will get big enough to fruit this year, but if not they’ve got a head start for next year.
I’m definitely a beginner pepper grower, but hoping to upgrade the seedling setup next year, to get them going earlier. Also, I’m still testing different varieties to find which we like the best.

Same. Didn’t start early enough.
Cherry bomb looks awesome
lol bro i haven’t even gotten them all in the ground yet but yes
I try to save all my seeds. But I’m going to buy the Corno Di Toro and Marconi pepper seeds because I love Carmen peppers but they are hybrid. I really want to taste the yellow Corno di Toro. I need a nice tropical tasting yellow pepper.
Yes lol! Already got stuff in my cart. Waiting for a sale
Oh, absolutely! This is my first year growing peppers and once I realised how easy it was I was instantly hooked! The first fruits are just starting to appear, but I’ve already spent several weeks reading up on different varieties and where to buy them and making lists of what to grow next year.
I received two Chile de Árbol seedlings back in february and also planted some orange snack pepper seeds which ended up as seven plants. I then bought four more plants at a sale about two weeks ago: Apache, Cheyenne, Jalapeño and Padrón.
I realised too late that I had also been given some Ezpeleta/Espelette seeds a year ago. I’ll save those for next year! The only seeds I’ve bought so far for next year is a pack of purple snack peppers, but more will follow!
