    Oh yeah! For me it was the 60s but I still remember Dad piling up the charcoal, spraying it with lighter fluid, lighting a match…then WHOOOOFFF! Ahhhh…memories!

    YES!!! The more the better of course! The sound of the metal lighter fluid can being relentlessly squeezed. How most of us survived the 70’s unscathed is a testimony to how soft these new generations have become, lol!

    Imagine a rack of ribs on that boy.

    No wrapping, no spritzing, just charred and burnt on sugar from BBQ sauce. Maybe also put directly over the coals while there was still an opportunity to get some of that special flavor from the lighter fluid.
