Ok, separate question. Should I be doing an annual tightening? I probably grill once or twice a month. Second question. Is there a good video tutorial on it?

Most likely called a 1/4-20 cap nut. Check McMaster Carr. Take a pair of vice-grips and withdraw the remnant of the screw to check what size it is for sure.

Email BGE customer service. I did that once asking for the bolt sizes to replace on my own, they sent me a whole pack to replace all of my bolts.

I just had this happen. You can find replacement hardware kits at Ace. Be sure to confirm what size egg.[BGE Hardware Kit](https://www.acehardware.com/departments/outdoor-living/grills-and-smokers/grill-replacement-parts/8068663BigGreenEggAluminum/SteelGrillBandHardwareForBigGreenEggXLargeEggMfr#3201-AceHardware)
