After struggling for weeks with cold snaps and other issues, I can see new growth daily now. For 4 weeks it didn't grow a single new leaf (I assume it was growing underground).

I'm really excited how big the potted Carolina Reaper is going to get in this big pot.

    Your assumption is spot on! When pepper plants are repotted, their first priority is to focus on spreading out their root system and establishing themselves beneath the soil line.

    You’d better brace yourself, though! If it’s picking up speed, it’s about to explode!

    Nice! How long in between pics?

    My super hot peppers also seem to have been taking really long (almost a month now) without showing signs of growing here in zone 6a. Some of my other pepper plants have shown signs of solid growth the last couple of weeks though.
