The straight refusal to follow a recipe is so consistent on this sub.

These posts also confirm how challenging this dish is to make. Like making a proper French omelette.

It’s the OP’s first dish he’s cooked living alone, let’s not go straight for the jugular pls folks 😭

  3. Looks like a delicious dish!! Carbonara inspired

That amount would put me right to sleep in one sitting.

It’s not quite a carbonara, mate, but that does look delicious and especially for a first meal living alone. My first meal alone was pasta and tomato sauce lol. Nicely done.

  12. That’s Pasta Cassiebonera for sure. You nailed it first time!

I would like to eat it, no matter what it should be named!

It looks like bacon and chicken with fettuccine pasta and I bet it tasted wonderful.

Looks delicious! True carbonara is less saucy, but this looks mighty fine to me!

Good for you. That’s a lot of food…not sure how well it will reheat!

But listen. You cooked it in your place. That’s awesome. I don’t know if you’re 18 and this is your first place or if you’re 50 and recently separated/divorced, or what. I mean….both actually I’d make different comments to…but good for you!

Good for you, homie. And yeah, that first few months when you’re finally on your own…scary but exhilarating.

Plus pasta is an excellent and inexpensive source of food that’s also very versatile.

Keep watching recipes and trying new things. By cooking more at home vs eating out/dashing, you’re already doing way better than a lot of folks.
