So I'm growing cherry tomatoes, watermelon, zucchini, cucumber, Swiss chard, lettuce, peppers, and kale! Let me know what you think!

It looks nice. Some of those like the watermelon are going to take over, and overcrowd more than you think, though.

Zucchini gets huge and is probably going to cover up anything near it.
Cucumber need a tall trellis to climb.

A lot of the plants look way too close and it’s not good when you are trying to grow them.

It sure looks nicer than my first garden. I recommend a trellis for your cucumbers and tomatoes. When cucumbers and tomatoes lay on the ground they get eaten by bugs, they are harder to pick, and they take up tons of space. Make the trellis stronger than you think you need, healthy cucumber and tomato plants get big and heavy.
Next time you should look into the best planting time for each plant. If it is warm enough for your tomatoes, watermelon, zucchini, cucumbers, and peppers to thrive, you are going to have a tough time with your lettuce. It is going to want to bolt and be bitter very quickly. Lettuce does well in cooler spring temperatures.

It looks great! You’re going to have to figure out what to do with the plants that grow 50 times bigger than they are now, but those are happy problems that only come when you succeed in growing them that big. For now, just try to keep them happy and growing. 👍👍

That space should have 3 peppers and 3 tomatoes. You will get more with less. The squash, melons, cucumbers need their own bed. A big area. Lettuce is going to bolt unless you live in a cool climate. Good luck!

I love this! Well done. Sincerely.
The rows are straight, everything is nice and tidy. Clearly you’ve made an attempt to amend the soil. It looks level and gets good sun. It’s a good selection of vegetables— they’re all pretty easy to grow, delicious and useful in a variety of ways. But the fence around everything really tells me you care. You’re killing it!
