here is my musaka out of the oven little brown on one spot but it’s supposed to be brown bubbling i’m letting it cool off right now and i am going to have two guests and my tonight so uh they’ll be here shortly i’m going to show you my salad i already made it but let me show you what i did all right i have romaine lettuce and i have cucumber english cucumber calamata olives some cherry tomatoes cut in half some red onions that i soaked in some cold water for oh i don’t know at least 10 minutes said five but i think that’s let’s see a green pepper cut up small there’s a green pepper and red onion tomatoes cucumber and mike is bringing some feta cheese with him that i asked him to pick up in his neighborhood and the olives and the lettuce and i also have over here some salad dressing it’s made of lemon juice olive oil salt pepper garlic and some fresh oregano and that’s our salad and he’s also bringing like i said some bread from a place i love so we’ll show you that when when we have dinner okay it’s a ve it’s dinner time and let me well i’ll show you dinner this is my greek salad with lettuce and mike showed up and brought me some nice feta cheese and i’ve made a lemon vinegrett here’s my musaka i showed you and here’s some lovely bread i told you about one is called where did you get this lovely bread the hay market mike picked up for me when he was out doing my chores that is olive and herb bread and this is cranberry walnut bread sourdough of course that’s my pie made my rhubarb strawberry strawberry rhubarb pie it’s e equal amounts of the two fruits anyway so let me go around here’s mike mike hello here’s my sister you’ve met before and here’s someone you’ve not met my friend norman hello that lived here with me for five years as a oh roommate tenant whatever love we had a great time together anyway we’re going to have dinner and as usual the basketball is on but we’ll be back and give you our personal reviews good all right this is my sister and i want her comments on what she’s tried nancy well nancy out they’ve met nancy right i love the spread and the salad is awesome good it is really good what’s so good about it um tangy the taste the taste well earlier it’s just got a lot of flavor to it nancy said something just like that earlier which i said was a very good compliment she said “this has a lot of flavor taste what are the other?” it does it does norm what you think is delicious good it’s not super hot we kind of uh uh you know talked for a long time before we got done to eating so we got distracted and mike you got any comments i’m turning greek yeah we have a very greek greek dinner i don’t know about i think they probably eat what would be a greek bread pa wasn’t i think this yeast this sourdough bread i think is actually nice with it i don’t know if it ruins the greek thing or not but here’s my plate delicious yeah thank you what’s your favorite thing and if you say the bread i won’t be hurt because i love that bread that’s really good mhm well the way that it all goes together is my oh that is what i like to hear i love to hear that it goes together that’s my goal so i’m going to be back and giving you my report when i taste it okay well i’m west and i would like to give you i’m gonna give this an a i think i’ll give this an a because everything is uh the salad like my sister said is perfectly seasoned it’s tangy it’s plenty salty and um peppery and this musaka is delicious i didn’t salt it either and everything’s cooked as you saw in my first video everything is cooked separately and differently but it everything is cooked well the potatoes which are in the from the microwave the eggplant from the oven and the other two things are cooked on the stove and then of course you bake it anyway again we love our bread from the hay market but it’s all uh and i was afraid it would taste too much of cinnamon no no it does but it does like most a lot of greek food it does have a little bit of cinnamon but see i can’t detect the cinnamon good well that’s good then anyway i just want to say lovely dinner lovely guests and um uh well i don’t know if we’ll come back for the pie or not we’ll see it looks awfully nice it does look good we’ll see how how it comes out so we won’t close that okay time for pie that seems two of the pieces look pretty neat and then the other two are a total disaster when i got them out of there they’ll still taste good i think so there’s the pie it cut well it just didn’t come out too good at the beginning okay we’ll see you when we put the ice cream on there and have a little taste okay dessert time water here’s my plate i got one of the messy pieces cuz i’m the host yeah they don’t taste and mike got another one and norma got a pretty piece i got a pretty piece and my sister nancy got a nice piece and now she’s now i’m wiping all off ice cream off ice cream i usually drop it much higher on my shirt i know mike has the dessert good the claire m wonderful [Music] any comments absolutely delicious with that vanilla ice cream yeah perfect we love that costco ice cream but let me just say about this pie although it’s a little messy looking it’s good it’s um i’ve never made this particular recipe but i i love to cook rhubarb as i talk about all the time but i i don’t think i’ve ever made this and the crust is delicious it’s really crispy and the pie itself especially with the fruit it’s really tangy tart so the ice cream is a welcome uh sweetness it’s good anybody i agree okay everybody’s happy we’re gonna sign off and say awesome dinner awesome company and we’ll see you again we’ll see you soon okay enjoy okay norm goodbye okay
