   The use of a baking tray is already a pizza crime. Good pizza ONLY comes from a stone or steel.

   I don’t think I’ve ever put a pizza on a baking tray. OP clearly has put this in the washing machine by mistake (without a baking tray obviously)

    I put pizza directly on the oven rack, and it turns out fine. You must have done something else wrong.
