homemade mac and cheese. i didnt make the pasta but i wonder if kitchenaid has an attachment for this kind of shape

    That looks like a mezze maniche, a shorter rigatoni. Kitchenaid has an attachment for rigatoni. It’s their pasta press. I’ve never used it so I can’t recommend but I guess you can use the rigatoni die and just cut it a bit shorter.

    This type of pasta is extruded. Other extruded shapes would be spaghetti, mafaldine, and penne. Very dry dough, typically just semolina and water, pressed forcefully through a die. There are many standalone extruders out there for home use if you’re Interested. I have a Phillips that works pretty well.

    It has a rigatoni shape and a large macaroni (and small macaroni)

    ETA: I recently got one, it works well! I don’t have a ton of feedback since I’ve only used it a handful of times and I’m fairly new to making pasta
