Pricey, but Bōm was absolutely incredible. Every bite was on point, even some things I don’t traditionally enjoy. The service was also on point. Could not recommend it enough!

that’s great but what did they serve you after the free samples?

That looks so rich and delicious! My mouth is watering.
I’m sure I’ll be hungry in the next hour.

Our definitions of meal are wildly different

Same!!! Bom was by far the best meal of my life
matchaflatwhitelatte
Agreed! Incredible experience and their non-alcoholic pairing was truly unreal

How much was it pp if you don’t mind me asking?

I tried looking into their menu just now because this all looks really good but their mobile site is so deceptively frustrating

The presentation board reminds me of Zen.

So many people in the comments have never had a tasting menu or eat way more than they should in a single sitting.
Sjefkeees
But did they have any caviar?

Says literally nothing about the meal. “The best meal of my life” which is meaningless with no reference point. Is this what we’re up voting these days? Because there are pictures?

That’s a snack

Taking nothing away from your post or experience, I wish restaurants would figure out a new way to justify prices besides just adding caviar to everything

Nothing about this food looks Korean, although the 4th pic looks like a bite of rice and galbi with roe

Ah yes I too enjoy eating 3 bites of steak. This kind of dining is getting out of hand. I don’t mind paying a lot of money for good food, but I expect normal portions.
GhostVeep
Agreed, definitely my best meal in NYC.
All of these comments are harping on the portion size and amount of food ignoring that you did not include pics of the majority of the food served. There were like 4 different unique steak courses and several different seafood appetizers (ceviche, a noodle, a crab soup type thing). You will leave full and have plenty of food.
It’s really expensive but it’s worth it for a special occasion, exceptional meal. Only downside for me was that they did not allow you to order cocktails from Oiji Mi, only wine from Bom, which is a bummer because Bom is literally in Oiji Mi and I love cocktails 🙁

Bom was good. So many courses – I couldn’t finish the last few because I was so full (husband didn’t complain:)). The courses overall felt quite meat forward and a little heavy. Non-alcoholic pairing was pretty interesting. The restaurant in the front called Oijimi is also very good.

100 percent agree – this is the best meal I’ve had in a decade. And no the caviar was not just for the sake of looking fancy. And no the portions were not small. This place is a GEM.

Lots of haters in the comments. You should post to r/finedining ! Looks phenomenal.

Went there last year. Enjoyed it way more than atomix.

How much overall?
How was the McDonalds afterwards?
How was your, ah, Bōm appetite ?
